Maharaj Movie Story :
Bollywood fans have been waiting eagerly for Junaid Khan, son of actor Aamir Khan, to make his debut, and the moment is finally here. His first movie, “Maharaj” is available on Netflix. This historical thriller tells a story from India’s legal history and has stirred up some controversy lately.
The Netflix movie begins with the Birth of Karsandas Mujli (the Debut of Bollywood actor Amir Khan’s son Junaid Khan) in Gujarat and the true story of a brave man Karsandas Mulji (played by Junaid Khan) who lived in India way back in the 1860s. Back then, everyone respected a religious leader called Jadunath Maharaj aka JJ (played by Jaideep Ahlawat) people thought him a saintly(Spiritual) person.
Karsandas Mujli was a curious young man journalist and Social Reformer who didn’t blindly follow Eventually, He heard Whispers that Maharaj wasn’t Holy and even, exploited his female devotees in the costume of superstitious rituals and practices like ‘charan seva’. He secretly and Undercover investigated Maharaj’s large house, discovering that he was not a saint but used his power to deceive people.
Karsandas Mujli had to drag Maharaj to court over an article in a Newspaper exposing the irrelevant predations of a powerful godman. This made Maharaj very angry, so Karsandas was sued by him in court! This was a big deal because it meant the truth about him would be heard by everyone. The movie follows Karsandas as justice is fought for by him in court. It’s a tough battle because Maharaj is still believed to be a good man by many people. But bravery is shown by Karsandas, and giving up is not an option for him.”
This film is a story about standing up for what’s right, even when it’s scary. It shows us that truth can be powerful and that one person can make a difference.
